Gelbo Heel or Elbow Protector with X-Static

An effective, low-cost method of providing additional protection needed for high-risk heels and elbows. Gelbo’s patented mineral oil-based gel formula softens and moisturises dry, cracked skin, reducing the pressure, friction and shear forces that can cause bedsores or heel/elbow pain.

Now available with an X-Static® silver-fibre cover – the first line of defence against decubitus ulcers. The anti-microbial silver fibre inhibits the growth of bacteria in the product, neutralises odour, promotes healing and provides relief from skin irritation while limiting re-infection. Silver has long been recognised for its therapeutic qualities.

Directions

• Place the gel pad over the irritated area and smooth the sleeve into place.
• Do not wear with shoes.
• Remove uncovered product daily for at least 6 hours; X-Static product may be worn continuously.

Sizing

Measure and mark 7cm above the ankle bone (for heel use) or above the crease of the elbow (for elbow use), then measure the circumference of the leg or arm at this point.

• Medium: 20–33cm circumference
• Large: 28–35cm circumference

Materials & Care

95% nylon, 5% spandex with a mineral oil-based gel. Latex free. Machine or hand wash, air dry. Do not wring or use bleach.
